In-Branch Program

Learn about the night sky inside a portable planetarium.

Before the total solar eclipse on April 8, McMaster’s Portable Planetarium is on the move to educate and wow all those who enter. Learn all about stars, planets and galaxies from McMaster’s space experts.

Not recommended for those under six years of age or those negatively affected by bright or flashing lights.

About the library

A newly built, 12,000-square-foot Valley Park Branch opened May 5, 2022. Now four-times the size of its 30-year-old predecessor, it features a Makerspace, an interior courtyard, three quiet study rooms and two 1,500 square-foot rooms for library programming.
