In celebration of National Jazz Appreciation Month, the Jay Burr Project performs at the Binbrook Branch. Jay has been active in the Canadian music scene for 35 years. He has shared the stage with artists including Jack de Keyser to Pinetop Perkins, Jane Siberry to Sam Rivers. He has recorded with artists such as Zubot and Dawson, David Woodhead’s Confabulation and Rebecca Hennessy’s FOG Brass Band. Jay continues to perform regularly with his group, Tuba4, and The Tom Waits Appreciation Congregation. Learn more about the Hamilton Musicians' Guild.

The Binbrook Branch was established in 1966. The building opened to the public in 1982 and was partially funded through a grant from the proceeds of Wintario. The branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults. Binbrook Branch was newly renovated in 2018.
