An inclusive, period-positive presentation that explores various types of reusable period products available and how to use them. Recommended for ages 10-18. Presented by The Period Purse, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring sustainable access to period products for all, as well as ending the stigma surrounding menstruation through advocacy and education.

About the library

Opened in May 1908, Barton Branch was first in the Hamilton Public Library system. The Branch occupied several permanent and temporary locations over the next 50 years, before it moved to its present location in November 1963. Barton Branch was most recently renovated in 2011.
