Learn how to bring Shakespeare's characters and stories to life.

Using passages and excerpts from Shakespeare’s plays, teaching artists demonstrate and discuss acting techniques including personal approaches to performing Shakespeare. You will learn how to engage with Shakespeare in active, imaginative and personally meaningful ways, bringing his stories, characters and language to life here and now.

About the library

The Ancaster Branch first opened in 1955. The branch moved several times over the following decade. The library arrived at its current location on Wilson Street in 1967 as a Centennial project. Completely renovated in 2006, the branch offers materials and programming  for children, teens and adults.
