In celebration of National Jazz Appreciation Month, the Roberto Santos Quartet performs at the Sherwood Branch. The Roberto Santos Quartet explores jazz standards from the great American song book. This quartet is comprised of Ritch Thoman on tenor sax, Clark Johnston on upright bass, Robert Fekete on leyboard and Roberto Santos on drumset. This concert is generously funded by the Hamilton Musician's Guild.

The Sherwood Branch was opened as a storefront in a small plaza on Upper Ottawa Street in November 1966. In 1981, the Branch expanded and eventually moved to a larger and brighter facility in June 1991. Sherwood Branch was most recently renovated in 2010.
