In celebration of Ontario Culture Days, Brian Jantzi performs live at the Barton Branch. Brian is a Hamilton-based singer-songwriter and recording artist who plays a solo acoustic set of covers and originals. Brian’s folk jazz album Junkie for Emotion crosses many genres of folk, blues, western, jazz, Brit-pop, rock and roll, bluegrass, psychedelic and world roots traditions. Opened in May 1908, Barton Branch was first in the Hamilton Public Library system. The Branch occupied several permanent and temporary locations over the next 50 years, before it moved to its present location in November 1963. Barton Branch was most recently renovated in 2011.
