Listen to live music at Valley Park.
This week, Garnetta Cromwell performs live at the Valley Park Branch. Garnetta is a Afro-Metis vocalist and bandleader who delivers a blend of blues and rhythm and blues. Her band DaGroovmasters earned Maple Blues and Blues Blast Music Award nominations and critical acclaim for their debut album Time to Shine. The DaGroovmasters are: Mark Howe, bass guitar; Toshi Otani, lead guitar; Robin Houston, drums and Juan Arce, saxophone.

A newly built, 12,000-square-foot Valley Park Branch opened May 5, 2022. Now four-times the size of its 30-year-old predecessor, it features a Makerspace, an interior courtyard, three quiet study rooms and two 1,500 square-foot rooms for library programming.
