Comic artist Ron Kasman leads a workshop on creating and publishing graphic novels. He’ll share lessons from his books, explain how to pitch to publishers and highlight essential reference tools for writers and artists. Ideal for aspiring creators and comics fans.
Ron has worked with DC and Image Comics and is the creator of William Lyon Mackenzie, The Tower of the Comic Book Freaks, The Geek of the Gods, The Cosmic Con and Mr. Rosenthal and Mr. Rose. In 2025, he was selected by the Canadian Embassy in France to attend the Angoulême International Comics Festival as part of the Canadian delegation.

Taking its name from the historic Red Hill Creek area, the Red Hill Branch opened in February 1969. The Branch moved to its current location in the plaza in 1983. To meet the demands of the growing community, it was renovated in 2000.
