Learn about the history, policies and legacies of Canada's 139 residential schools, which operated from the 1870s to 1997, and housed more than 150,000 First Nations, Inuit and Métis children, between ages four and 16. Presented in partnership with Hamilton's Urban Indigenous Strategy and the Woodland Cultural Centre. After you register, a Zoom link is sent to you via email closer to the date of the event.
