Discover the benefits of cohousing, a type of collaborative housing built to foster living in community, where future residents are integral to the design and development of the community. Cohousing combines the autonomy of compact self-contained private dwellings with the benefits of shared, spacious community amenities, and tends to offer environmentally sensitive design with a pedestrian orientation. Presented by Ellen Ryan, McMaster University and Cohousing Hamilton.
